Plexus In Action: [The Bridge] x [EcoAthletes]

Recipric is built from the framework of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Though each element is critical to the success of a cross-collaborative, holistic sustainability strategy, we are particularly keen on SDG 17, Partnership for the Goals.

Over time, we will showcase the strength of partnerships through synergies within our Plexus, the powerful nexus of [Brands with Platform] + [Experts with Impact] + [Individuals with Intent]

This week, we are pleased to share a story of Plexus in Action.

PLEXUS IN ACTION

As The Bridge’s Chief Sustainability Office, our Founder Kristen Fulmer has worked to enhance NFL’er & Entrepreneur, Garry Gilliam’s vision for a self-sustaining eco-village-like development model, which is replicable and adaptable to fill unused vacant lots in communities in need around the United States. Gilliam is a passionate plant-based athlete, who lives a sustainable lifestyle, including fostering his own garden at home and investing in sustainable technologies.

As EcoAthlete’s Strategic Advisor, our Founder Kristen Fulmer supports the non-profit’s mission to inspire athletes in taking the first step on their climate action journey. Fortunately, there is a cohort of athletes, now deemed EcoAthlete Supporters, who are already on their journey to taking climate action, whether through projects, communications, activations, or partnerships with other organizations.

In identifying and aligning the missions of The Bridge and of EcoAthletes, Recipric was able to connect these organizations, leveraging Sustainable Development Goal 17, Partnerships for the Goals. Together, our missions in achieving Sustainable Development are stronger.
